Mahajaya Sports Club Members Bake Up a Storm at Deepavali Cookie Session
The Mahajaya Sports Club’s festive cookie-baking workshop, held in conjunction with Deepavali celebrations, successfully concluded with an overwhelming response from its members. It brought together club members for an evening of culinary creativity and community bonding.
18 October 2024 – Kuala Lumpur: Mahajaya-Sports Club recently held a special cookie-baking session to celebrate the joyous occasion of Deepavali. The event, which took place at Level 3 of M Café, saw club members come together for an afternoon of festive fun and culinary creativity.
A Flour-Powered Fiesta
Participants were divided into two groups, tasked with making either chocolate chip cookies or almond cookies. They prepared their own recipes, experimenting with ingredients provided by the club. Some members had even practised earlier, ensuring they were ready for the session. The event’s lively atmosphere was further enhanced as attendees donned colourful aprons, adding to the festive vibe.
From 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm, the café buzzed with energy as members shared tips, laughed over kitchen mishaps, and cheered each other on. The aroma of freshly baked cookies filled the air, creating a warm and inviting ambience.
Sweet Memories Made
By the end of the session, participants proudly packed their delicious creations—from gooey chocolate chips to crisp almond cookies. Beyond the cookies, the event was a celebration of unity and joy, leaving everyone with sweet memories and stronger bonds in the spirit of Deepavali.
