Mahajaya CSR Initiative 2025: Giving Back Together
Mahajaya Employees Bring Joy and Necessary Supplies to Welfare Homes in Klang, Selangor
22 February 2025 – Klang: Continuing its yearly charitable tradition, Mahajaya, through its employee group, the Mahajaya Sports Club (MSC), recently carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission titled “Giving Back Together. ” This initiative promotes the idea of building strong community connections and assisting those who require support. The mission achieved great success, thanks to the united efforts of our staff, volunteers, and kind donors.
A Day of Kindness and Contribution
The day started with a group of devoted Mahajaya volunteers assembling at the Mahajaya headquarters before travelling to two care facilities: Guardian Angels Home located in Taman Saga, Klang, Selangor, and Padmasambhava Children Loving Association Klang Selangor in Batu Belah, Klang, Selangor. These places offer care and shelter for children aged six months to 23 years old.
The warm welcome and gratitude from both the children and caregivers upon our arrival were truly uplifting. We provided essential food items like rice, vermicelli, and cooking oil, along with household goods such as diapers, hangers, baskets, and wall fans. These gifts will significantly aid in fulfilling the daily requirements of these homes.
A Community Uniting
Prior to the visit, a donation collection took place at the Mahajaya headquarters, where employees and supporters contributed valuable supplies. The encouraging response highlighted the generous spirit present within the Mahajaya community, reinforcing our dedication to social responsibility.
“We were touched by the tremendous support from our coworkers,” said Phang Li Yi, a main organiser from MSC. “It was genuinely uplifting to observe everyone unite to create a positive change. “
The volunteers not only aided in distributing supplies but also took the time to engage with the children, creating a feeling of warmth and connection. Their enthusiasm and commitment made the event unforgettable for all participants.
Honouring the Spirit of Giving
The achievement of this initiative was acknowledged with a heartfelt message of thanks directed at all Mahajaya employees, recognising the kindness of the donors and volunteers. The message highlighted the significant difference made in the lives of the children and residents, underscoring the impact of working together.
“Your kindness and generosity keep making the world a better place,” the message concluded from the organising committee of MSC.
