Festive Spirit Shines at Mahajaya Christmas Celebration

19 December 2024 – Kuala Lumpur: Mahajaya, through its staff society, the Mahajaya Sports Club, spreads holiday cheer with its annual Christmas Party. Hosted at the renowned Jjang Korea BBQ in Alam Damai, the event combined seasonal joy, delectable food, and community camaraderie, creating a truly memorable evening.
A Festive Welcome
Guests, dressed in elegant white, red, and green attire, were greeted by a venue adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations. The cosy setting was further enhanced by the tantalising aroma of sizzling Korean BBQ, setting the stage for an enchanting evening. With a warm welcome speech, the Mahajaya Sports Club organisers expressed their gratitude to attendees and shared their excitement for the evening ahead.
“The Christmas Party is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the year and strengthen the bonds within our community,” said Irene, a representative of the Sports Club committee. “It’s about joy, togetherness, and making lasting memories.”
Highlights of the Evening
The event featured a lavish buffet of authentic Korean dishes, which delighted the attendees with a mix of bold flavours and comforting classics. Adding to the festive spirit was the highly anticipated Secret Santa activity. Guests unwrapped thoughtful gifts valued at a minimum of RM 30 and tried to guess their Secret Santa’s identity. This light-hearted tradition embodied the season’s spirit of giving and brought laughter and joy to all participants.
Alongside the gift exchange, guests mingled and shared stories, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. The cheerful background music and the buzz of lively conversations made the evening all the more special.
Celebrating December Birthday Babies
Before the celebration ends, the Mahajaya Sports Club took a moment to celebrate the December birthday babies among the members. A special birthday cake was brought out, and everyone gathered to sing a heartfelt birthday song to the joyous celebrants.
