Mahajaya Chinese New Year Annual Dinner 2026 Celebrates Festive Unity

An evening of appreciation, celebration and togetherness as the Mahajaya family welcomed the Chinese New Year.

27 Feb 2026 – Kuala Lumpur: The Mahajaya Chinese New Year Annual Dinner 2026 brought together directors, management, and staff members of Mahajaya for a memorable evening of celebration and camaraderie. Held at Ukay Hills Private Event Estate & Lifestyle Suites, Bukit Antarabangsa, the annual gathering provided a meaningful platform for colleagues to reconnect, reflect on the past year, and usher in the Chinese New Year in a festive atmosphere.

Welcoming the Chinese New Year Together

Organised by the Mahajaya Sport Club, guests began arriving as early as 5:30 pm for registration, followed by opening remarks and speeches by the directors. In their speeches, they expressed appreciation for the dedication and commitment shown by the Mahajaya team throughout the past year.

Mr Ben Tan, Managing Director of Mahajaya, highlighted the importance of teamwork in the company’s continued growth.

“Mahajaya’s strength lies in its people. The dedication and teamwork of everyone in the organisation make every achievement we have today possible.

While the Project Director of Mahajaya, Mr Henry Tan, also encouraged the team to continue supporting one another as the company moves forward.

“Our progress is built on the hard work of the Mahajaya family. Let us continue to move forward with the same spirit of unity in the year ahead.”

A Night of Celebration

The evening continued with a group photo session and the traditional lou sang tossing ceremony, symbolising prosperity and good fortune for the new year. Guests later enjoyed a buffet dinner, where colleagues took the opportunity to mingle and share the festive spirit in a relaxed setting.

The celebration also featured a 10 Years Service Award presentation, recognising long-serving employees who have dedicated a decade of commitment to the organisation. The recognition reflected Mahajaya’s appreciation for the loyalty and contributions of its people. For this year, the awards go to these deserving staff: Haslinda Binti Tajuddin (Property Management Department), Hing Kar Wei (Real Estate Department) and Toh Hoy Whye (Administrative Department)

The evening continued with games, a Best Costume competition, and an exciting lucky draw session, bringing laughter and energy to the celebration. Almost everyone participated in the group games session that saw “Aurora” group emerged as the overall winner.

Strengthening the Mahajaya Community

The event concluded at around 11:00 pm, marking the end of a memorable evening filled with festive cheer.

More than just a celebration, the Mahajaya Chinese New Year Annual Dinner continues to strengthen the bond among the Mahajaya community as the organisation moves forward into a new year together.
